Lakeside Baptist Church proactively addresses the risk of child sexual abuse by subscribing to and using MinistrySafe Trainings and resources. MinistrySafe’s webpage provides information to better understand how MinistrySafe, our church and other MinistrySafe subscribers are working to prevent child sexual abuse.
Children
Lakeside Baptist Church provides a secure, loving, and learning environment for our children. We provide age appropriate activities and Bible studies regularly on Sundays and Wednesdays with extra activities throughout the year.

Classes are available for all ages nursery through adults.

Children's Church is available for nursery through Kindergarten @ 8:30 AM; nursery through 3rd Grade @ 11:00 AM. All of our children are welcome to worship with their families in the main service.

During the school year for age 3 - 5th grade. The word AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed and comes from the Bible verse II Timothy 2:15: "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth."

Auditions for the 2025 Children’s Christmas Musical will be Sunday, August 10, 2025, following the 11:00 AM Worship Service.
Ignite
At Lakeside, our youth group is open to students in 6th through 12th grade. We have regularly scheduled events each week, and have camps, retreats, and other exciting things going on throughout the year!
On Sundays we offer opportunities for Bible study and worship. Youth Small Groups begins at 9:45am. Church service begins at both 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM. On Wednesdays at 6:00 PM we have our youth group, IGNITE.
Journey
Welcome to Journey, the college ministry of Lakeside. As followers of Jesus Christ we have the privilege of knowing God more intimately through the study of His Word, the Bible. We are glad you are here and we want to invite you to be a part of life at Lakeside and Journey with us as we grow together.
The Journey college group meets on Mondays at 7pm during the school year at the senior pastor's home 529 High Point Road NW, Milledgeville Georgia. Come join us for a bible study, food, and fellowship.
